In light of today’s massive Google outage I thoguht I’d pass along a few ways to check if google is down.

If you use and rely on Google Products such as Gmail and Docs, bookmark this page.
Apps Status Dashboard (http://www.google.com/appsstatus) If you are experiencing problems, check this link and see if your issue is isolated to your situation, or part of a larger problem.
